Users can get lots more views with new Facebook tie — Instagram Stories

If you've been on Instagram recently, then you probably know that it has welcomed a new feature. In other words, it's now possible to poll web users for their opinions on any subject, by adding a poll sticker to a photo or video.

In a bid to boost the popularity of the Stories feature on Facebook, the company had rolled out Stories for desktop users earlier this year in August, and now they seem to be taking on a new approach to growing its popularity.

To add more vibrancy, Instagram also has some tools for the Stories section. Facebook Stories had gone off to a slow start, but this new integration should see more engagement on the relatively quiet feature of the social networking app.

Facebook Stories were introduced globally in March 2017 after testing the feature in Ireland. "We're always working to make it easier to share any moment with the people who matter to you" as told by a Facebook spokesperson.

Facebook has been aggressively pushing Stories onto all of its platforms. To rope in more numbers for their Stories, Instagram will now offer its members to post Stories directly to Facebook. It could also help Facebook Stories gain traction.

Facebook and Instagram have tied their platforms closer together, in a setup that will satisfy heavy social media sharers.

Having said that, one advantage of being able to share Instagram Stories directly on Facebook is that it would save time as users won't have to manually keep uploading it on Facebook. Have you ever used Stories on Facebook?
