Alphabet, Google's parent company have announced via Medium that it is working on the Google Glass Enterprise Edition that will soon be available, although which will be predominenlty an enterprise based product.
Jay Kothari, Product Lead for Glass, said the company has been working on the new and improved Google Glass Enterprise Edition for the past two years, in which time it has been available to a small number of enterprises in a limited programme.
Despite the success of AR and VR tech in the consumer market, Glass will be exclusively developed for the business sector, and, as far as we know, there are no plans yet to expand beyond that.
