Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Launch Trailer Reveals Release Date

Posted June 24, 2017

It will last for five weeks stargint June 27th and will include in-game giveaways, XP events and new playlists across multiple Call of Duty titles, one of which will be a summer-themed map for Modern Warfare Remastered.

The remaster, which was originally made available for purchase in November of a year ago, is built upon the original Modern Warfare, which was released all the way back in 2007 on last-generation consoles. The hope, of course, is that the wait between the PS4 version and the other two won't be that long, but with Activision unwilling to talk release dates just yet, we aren't left feeling very encouraged.

Modern Warfare Remastered features updated graphics, effects, and audio.

There is a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Trilogy that allows you to play Modern Warfare, Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 3, but it is not connected to this game. The game can also be purchased both physically and digitally.

The graphics are ready to impress, and should live up to what you are used to on the Xbox One, PS4 and current gaming PCs. That gets you the campaign and 16 different multiplayer maps, but it's worth noting that the Variety Pack DLC isn't included. Let us know in the comments. Modern Warfare Remastered will be available for $39.99 on June 27 for the PlayStation 4. Modern Warfare had some memorable missions, such as "All Ghillied Up", "Charlie Don't Surf", and "Crew Expendable".
