Jackson, who led the US between 1829 and 1837, was born in SC but is buried in Nashville, where he owned a plantation called The Hermitage. However, this showed very little other than the fact that Trump made a lot of money in 2005 and paid the taxes that were legally required of him. The sixth president was America's first populist head of state, and many (including Trump advisor Steve Bannon) have argued that Trump is following in his footsteps.
